Life is good

What a fantastic day! This morning I put my feet on the floor and couldn't help noticing they were the same size. Walking... no problem. God is watching over me for sure. So, I got started on my research which is awfully motivating. I came back to the house for lunch and then went out to the waterhole in the rain. You may think why go out in the rain, but it was the nicest kind of African rain. Patchy clouds with beams of sun peaking through leading to many rainbows across the endless sky. I arrived at the waterhole along with about 50 baboons, tons of wildebeest and zebra. It was one of those days I couldn't help but be thankful I was here and alive. There were elephants in the distance that I watched lumber slowly over the horizon and then I left for the trek back. I didn't even mind running into the same group of elephants on the road. In fact, it happened at the easiest point to avoid them and I enjoyed watching them up close for a little bit. And now... it is past 6 and the internet is still up for some reason. I better hurry now that I said that!
